a. Compose of 3-man Team with average 2100 Rapid ELO Rating per team (Non-Rated will have an automatic 1800 ELO Rating, latest 2021 Rapid ELO Rating)

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Five (5) to Seven (7) Rounds Swiss System for each category
TOURNAMENT RULES
A. The tournament shall be governed by the 2018 FIDE Laws of Chess or its updated version and this is an NCFP non-sanctioned tournament.
B. The tournament shall use the 2-match point scoring system with score of all boards to be combined as the first priority in the tiebreaks.
C. Time control shall be Twenty (20) minutes for each player to make all the moves necessary to finish the game using chess clocks with 3 minutes delay.
D. Recording of moves in Algebraic notation is optional.
E. Penalty for verified illegal moves:
1. 1st Offense – Warning and additional or minus (2) minutes for the penalized player whichever may apply.
2. 2nd Offense – automatic loss of the game.
F. The use of cellphones and other electronic means of communication during a round is prohibited. A player repeatedly violating this provision shall lose his/her game by forfeiture.
G. The basis for the initial ranking of players shall be the latest published NCFP Rating List.
H. Pairings shall be generated by the Swiss Manager Program. NO PROTEST ON PAIRING shall be entertained.
I. Spectators are not allowed to roam around the area during the game. Players who are done playing will be considered spectators thus preventing him to stay in the playing area.
J. Players are expected to perform to the best of their ability up to the last round, any players caught cheating, doing malicious act which favor him/her or by any forms of illegal game fixing shall be dealt with violently. Player’s integrity should not be compromised inside or outside of any chess tournament.
K. No defaulting time will be given. As such, waiting opponent must exhaust the entire opponent’s time left for him/her to declare winner by default.
L. Formal tournament attire is required. Shorts, Sandos and Tsinelas are not allow in the playing area
APPEAL COMMITTEE
In case of contention of arbiter’s decision, the protesting player shall secure a bond of P500.00 to initiate an immediate respond of appeal committee represented here below. Should the protesting player failed to justify his contest, the bond will not be refunded.
