HOW TO JOIN

1. You must have your real name in your profile. If you request to join without your real name displayed in your profile, your request will automatically be rejected.

2. You must be a Filipino.

3. You must be a Chess Pilipinas team member: https://lichess.org/team/chess-pilipinas.

4. Like and follow our FB page: https://www.facebook.com/ChessPHL. Then comment your lichess username and screenshot of page like below.

DISQUALIFICATION RULES

1. Any player who gets his lichess username banned by the site itself will be automatically disqualified from receiving any prize.

2. Any player with handle flagged by lichess as in above will automatically be deemed a non-member of Chess PH. A newly created username or alternative username by the same person who got banned will no longer be accepted by Chess PH.

3. Chess PH reserves the right to remove from the team members who do not adhere to civilized discourse and honorable conduct of the game.

1. Chess PH promotes fair play (no computer assistance, no coaching during a game, no undue interference that may affect the play and outcome of the game).

2. Chess PH promotes chess as a valuable tool for learning, education, nationalism, and integrity; hence, we expect informed discourses and honorable conduct of the game.

3. Chess PH promotes camaraderie among chess players and fighting chess at the same time. The goal of the game is to checkmate the rival's king -- we can be friends but we must give our best fight over the board -- this is the highest form of respect to accord your opposite "king".
